91 Dark Olive Green [1919 35 øre olive green Posthorn] NEVER HINGED with F-VF centering. Wonderfully fresh and bright as the day it was printed. Perfect perforations. This stamp is remarkably hard to find in NH condition, as confirmed by the Facit 2014 Classic value of SEK 750 for NH and only SEK 70 for Hinged. This is because the stamps of this denomination were either used up for postage or went into early stamp collections (which were almost always hinged); there were no remainder stocks of this one. (The same situation is true for the next issue Lion design in olive green.) While this has "only" F-VF centering, such nice NH examples are quite hard to find. |
