| These year SETS are offered at a discount from the individual stamp set prices. Year SETS are NOT the same item as an official year PACK. Year SETS are simply year groupings of stamps. Year PACKS are officially issued packages (folders/packs) and are popularly collected as year packs. Unless otherwise mentioned, the year SETS I offer contain all the basic stamps and "normal" souvenir sheets expected by a collector using a Scott album, but often this will be the same as what is needed by the collector using a European-made album. Year SETS are usually more correct for given styles of albums and often contain more stamps than the officially packaged year PACKS (in which the post offices often do not include everything that they should). Older year PACKS usually cost more than year SETS. However, year SETS are offered at a discount from the total of the individual items they contain (unless they only contain one individual stamp set). Year PACKS are also available: the earliest year packs are here and the most recent year packs are here. I guarantee your satisfaction and guarantee that you will always receive first quality stamps. As with almost all items I offer, you are welcome to request year sets to be sent on approval. Please note that Scott Catalog numbers for Aland stamps have changed several times, are not in very logical order now, and will likely change again someday. If you use a Scott album with catalog numbers printed in it, the current and correct numbers listed here may not be the same as printed in your Scott album. |
