Nice collection of 7 items: Small pieces of checks / sight drafts from 1875-1929 bearing both Danish documentary revenues and Great Britain Foreign Bill revenues. Only three or four different Danish revenue stamps represented, but they include one PERFIN (scarce on Danish revenues!). The GB stamps represent all different issues, eras, designs. An interesting note on the GB stamps is that the five later issues show a variety of design elements in the frames and decorations -- this was to reduce forgery; it makes it harder to cut the 10s from one stamp and simply paste it on to a 1s stamp. While such combinations (with GB stamps) are not rare, they are unusual and add a lot of "spice" to a collection.

Swastika "FRIHED / 1 kr." design (For Freedom): Black pen-lines swastika broken into pieces and bleeding red drops of blood. Text in blue "FRIHED" at top and "1 KR." at bottom. An "ILLEGAL" anti-Nazi label issued by an unrecorded organization. Extremely scarce; it was 31 years before I first had an example! Apparently exists gummed, but I have never seen a gummed example. Usually only found in poor quality. [These labels are listed in "Maerkatpropaganda i Danmark: Antifascistisk and Fascistisk 1930-1945" by Niels Gyrsting and Peter Poulsen.] Mint VF ungummed.

Collection of 1998-2001 officially issued "calendar" stamp cards. ("Stamp cards" are officially printed picture post cards that often picture stamps or may have designs related to stamp issues.) Complete set of 48 cards for these four years with the calendar stubs still attached. Attractively mounted with cover corner mounts on Scott pages (punched for 2-post and 3-ring). Some of those cards have designs with some relation to a stamp issue; others are just nice Danish pictures; all are very attractive. These cards seem to be scarce; I have never seen them offered for sale.

Includes a lot of semi-postal issues and even some plate blocks. The individual value of just the semi-postal stamps as 4-each ordinary singles is over $60; and then there are all the other stamps, plus any premium value as blocks and/or for the cancels (some of which are scarce).
