M8, Facit #F8 [1963 Military stamp] Superbly centered, on cover from TAMPERE with 1 October 1963 proper machine cancellation (the stamp was valid from 26 September through 5 October) and with proper military receiving cancellation on reverse. The envelope is remarkably neat and tidy. M8 covers are often on larger envelopes or are not attractive; this example is especially nice. This example is priced not much more than a single used stamp! |

M9 (M8 with 1983 overprint), Facit #F9 [1983 Military overprint] (VF) on very fresh and attractive cover from PADASJOKI with 25 April 1983 proper cancellations. The stamp was valid from 20 April until the end of the military exercises, around 30 April. With proper military receiving cancellation on reverse. Only 11,600 letters were sent bearing this stamp (per Facit). M9 covers are often on larger envelopes or are not attractive; this example is especially nice. Priced not much more than a single used stamp. |
