3a [1873 8 skilling, Imperf] IMPERFORATE horizontal pair with large to huge margins. Never hinged, but issued without gum. Natural, typical paper thinning (similar in cause to a watermark) on right stamp, but is NOT a "thin". Wonderfully fresh and attractive. Facit 2010 value for 2 singles is SEK 6000 = US$840 [1/10]! Very scarce! Interestingly, the imperforate stamps are tremendously scarcer than the regular perforated stamps, but only have a slightly greater catalog value.
24 [1896 5 aur Perf 12.5 Numeral] NH Superb right-margin 4-block. Upper left stamp with plate variety "dented upper left corner and cut off lower left corner" listed by AFA Iceland Specialized Catalog 1997 as #13Bø, and then listed at DKK 350 = US$63 [7/09] just for the variety stamp. A beautiful block in incredibly fresh condition. Priced at only the break-up value!
52 [1902 5 aur Perf 12.5 with Black I GILDI overprint] Mint, lightly hinged, VF single. Accompanied by COPY of a 1969 Royal Philatelic Society (London) photo certificate for the block from which this stamp came and (an original) 2009 Jay Smith photo certificate (for the single) with lifetime guarantee. Facit 2009 value for a typically centered Mint hinged single is SEK 3000 = US$390 [7/09] -- but this is much nicer than typical!
