66 [1907 2 kr King Haakon VII, First Design] Used with Fine centering, but heavily canceled. There is a circular, but heavy, town cancellation (perhaps FOSS?) and also a straight-line postmark of another town. The straight-line cancel looks like some parcel postmarks used in Norway (but not normally on the stamps) and also looks like some Danish parcel postmarks (again, not normally on the stamps) -- this may have been used on a parcel to Denmark. The stamp is in sound quality, but is priced appropriately for the appearance -- otherwise this centering would be $59. |

123 [1927 35 øre olive-brown Standing Lion, typographed] NEVER HINGED with F-VF+ centering, but with a one short perforation. The 35 øre olive-brown is the scarcest (Mint, Hinged or NH) stamp in this definitive issue -- it is a key stamp missing from many collections, especially in NH condition. There were ten printings of this stamp resulting in several obvious differences in color and gum. This example is Greenish Olive with White Smooth Gum. NH examples are quite hard to find. Facit 2022 NH value SEK 3200 [about $380 4/2022]. |

370-4 non-fluorescent [1959 King Olav V kroner values] Mint with VF centering, but #370 no gum and 371-4 NH but with very slight tropical toning. The set looks great. Facit 2022 only prices NH in this time period, which is SEK 758 for the set [about US$90 4/2022]; a Mint Hinged VF set would be priced at $49. Offered an an extremely low price! |
