Norway: Christmas Seals - Local: Seamen Homes In Foreign Ports

Norway has had a variety of national, regional, and local issuing organizations in addition to the National TB (the "official" Christmas seals) and National Red Cross issuers. I attempt to stock the singles, as well as blocks, sheets, imperforates, proofs, etc. from all issuers. I wish to purchase any items not listed (and many that are listed). All types of Norwegian Christmas Seals (and those of all the other Scandinavian countries) are available on approval. If you have specific topical/thematic interests, please let me know.

The seals of this issuer have great topical / thematic subjects, including ships, shipping, and lighthouses. Many of the seals were crudely produced, especially during the WWII years. VF centering is the exception; Fine or Average centering is typical. Many stamps have rough perforations; some issues seem only to exist with rough perforations -- this should not be considered a defect on these stamps.
