275, 280, 283 (VF) on 1947 INSURED cover from OSLO to BERGEN with 110 ore franking on the front and 30 ore on reverse. The stamp on reverse is canceled with an OSLO / KAMPEN "thimble" postmark. The thimble cancels are quite scarce on cover. I suspect the sender put the stamp on reverse as method of "sealing" the envelope. Very nice 1647-1947 issue item - a very collectible issue. |
