O85 (VF) solo use on extremely unusual 2 May 1964 cover from VINDEREN to NORRSKATA, FINLAND; there backstamped and forwarded to Poste-Restante (general delivery) at OSLO and there also backstamped. Somewhat worn condition as would be expected. No indication of postage due. Norwegian franked official mail leaving the country is EXTREMELY SCARCE -- in 35 years, I have only seen a couple items from the modern era, and I do not recall any forwarded back to Norway, or any type of official mail in any period to general delivery. |
