O110 x2, 540 x4 on 7 October 1981 domestic COD parcel card from VOLDA to SØRUMSAND. Rate group I; one 3.6 kilo parcel with NOK 384.00 due from recipient. The total postage of 24.00 was paid with four 5 kr King stamps AND TWO 2 kr Green OFFICIAL STAMPS (on the backside)!!!! I cannot recall ever before seeing such a mixture -- it must have been against regulations. Wonderful item!

O114 x14 (one damaged) on 21 August 1981 PARCEL TAG with post office POSTPAKKE form affixed, from HAMAR to Oslo. ILPAKKE label and also marked Særpakke. One 55 kilo parcel requiring 70 kr in postage -- paid by 14 (pair and 12-block, one stamp damaged) 5 kr Blue OFFICIAL STAMPS. An extraordinary usage! This is by far (many times over) the highest value official mail franking I have ever had and the only use of 5 kr Official stamps that I can recall having. Furthermore, this is the only example of such a Norwegian parcel tag postal form/LABEL that I can recall having. THOUGH A MODERN ITEM NOW, THIS WILL LIKELY BE A VERY IMPORTANT, CLASSIC PIECE IN FUTURE YEARS.
