Norway: Specialized Stamps: Early Booklet Stamps
Scott numbers have been used unless otherwise indicated. All items are available for viewing on approval.
The first Norwegian booklets were issued starting in 1904; from then through 1928, the booklet panes had completely cut straight-edges (no perforations at all on the sides of the pane and one end of the pane) -- these straight-edged stamps are listed in the specialized catalogs. After that time, until the first modern-era booklet started in 1976, the panes were fully perforated, but trimmed, resulting in perforations that were either straight-cut or partially cut off. This listing is of singles and pairs from booklets in both the early periods.

77 BOOKLET STAMPS, Facit 103B/D from H9 [1910 (booklet also 1910) 5 øre Green Posthorn] Used VF vertical pair (i.e. not a normal "booklet pair" format) of left-side straight-edge "B" stamp and bottom-left corner-cut "D" stamp with neat 31 July 1935 (MO)SJØEN bridge cancellation. Unusual (for the booklet stamps) later DARK GREEN PRINTING; I have only ever had a couple of booklet stamps in such a dark green color. While not in the usually-collected format, this is a perfect source of (and is valued as) singles of the B and D booklet stamps. This is from a very rare booklet (Facit 2018 value SEK 20,000).
