1 [3 Skilling Banco] Used with Average-Fine centering, but expertly repaired. Neat 1856 rectangular (GRYTHY)TTEHED cancellation. Strong color and very nice appearance for a stamp that usually looks terrible. This centering is typical for Sweden #1. The vast majority of examples of Sweden #1 are damaged or repaired. The vast majority of people would not be able to detect the repair on this stamp. Facit 2012 value is SEK 40,000 = about $5900. If this stamp was completely sound, it would command around $4000. |
