Scandinavian Christmas Seal Catalog 1987-88, Volume 2 (Small and Regional Issuers): (Christoffersen, 1988; Nordisk Julemaerke Katalog 1987-88 Bind 2; 8th edition) This 1987-88 Volume 2 is the most recent (and last) edition, from this author / publisher that includes the "smaller" and "local" as well as the national Scandinavian Christmas Seals. (The 1987-88 volume 1 covered the National seals and "major" issuers. The 1990 edition included only the national and "major" issuers). With 434 numbered pages in Volume 2, there is a lot of content, fully illustrated and priced. Absolutely necessary for any collector of more than the main issues. In Danish, but easy to use and includes Danish-English word list. Out of print and nearly impossible to find. (This was replaced by subsequent AFA Scandinavian Christmas Seal Catalog editions -- which do have also list "smaller" and "local" issuers -- which I do have in stock. The modern AFA editions include more recent seals and pricing but the AFA catalogs are much more costly.) Excellent condition; very gently used. |
