 Early Stamp Album Labels -- Rulers, Flags, and Coats of Arms have been added to the website. Interesting, beautiful, and rarely offered in such nice condition. Look for the countries that interest you.
The Swedish Ladybug Vertical Coil "Error" made the front page of Linn's Stamp News as a result of the article in our 1 April 2008 E-News.
In the Worldwide Stamps I have added a significant amount of "East Germany" (DDR / GDR), Samoa, and Solomon Islands.
 In case you have not looked lately, over the last few weeks and months a lot of British Colonies / British Commonwealth stamps have been added. Links to each country are in the Worldwide Table of Contents.
There are also a several pages of Worldwide Collections at very low prices.
The new 8 May 2008 E-News has been issued. It includes a wide range of new items on the website, as well as interesting collections and literature items.
New on 17 April 2008:
The 2008 Norden "Nordic Mythology" Official Joint Issue Pack containing all eight countries' souvenir sheets. The individual souvenir sheets are also available as well as other other related stamps, FDCs, maximum cards, packs, etc. This completes the trilogy -- order yours now. The 2004 and 2006 information has also been updated and pictures added. Supplies of the older issues are getting tight.
All the recent new stamps issues, year packs, and year books have been added to stock.
A nice range of Worldwide Stamps has been added, with emphasis on British Colonies: Aden, Aitutaki, Burma, Cook Islands, Malaya States and area, Nauru, New Zealand, Niue, Sarawak. Also stamps from Belgium, Greece, Ireland, and Tannu Tuva.

Details, pictures, and ordering for a new Swedish "ERROR" Stamp, the vertical coil (horizontal perforations) Ladybug (Nyckelpigor) 24 January 2008 issue. It is an interesting story and may also present a terrific investment opportunity. (No, this is NOT an April Fool's prank!)

A wide range of "better" stamps from most of the Scandinavian countries has been added. The 27 March 2008 E-News has all the links and terrific image gallery.
All the recent new stamps issues, year packs, and year books have been added to stock.
The 2008 Norden Mythology Joint Issue, including the folder with all 8 souvenir sheets, from all 8 countries was released today. This is the third and final issue of the Mythology series. See the most comprehensive offering on the Web. The 2004 and 2006 issues are available too.
Several pages of Norwegian Labels, including Patriotic, Expositions, Regional, and Advertising have been added to the website.

An interesting group of Greenland items have been added to the website:
Slania-engraved Queen Inverted Overprint.
Liberation Issue Inverted Overprint.
Other American / Liberation issue items including with plate numbers and with village postmarks.
Thule Local Post complete set of proofs in issued colors -- extremely rare!
Rockwell Kent Semi-Official Airmail Stamps: signed, unsigned, and a low-cost example with a thin.
1938-39 Northeast Greenland Expedition post cards; different card types, postmarks types, and arrival postmark types.
1950 definitive issue cover that is probably first day of use at Upernavik.
  
Iceland has quite a few more 1900-1940 era mint stamps (select from the list) and many new super-high quality stamps in the Iceland Gallery pages (starting here, quite a few pages).
 
United States stamps to 1930 and also the airmails are well represented with many new attractive mint and used stamps.
 
A really nice group of Canal Zone stamps including both the early overprints and later better issues have been added. These don't come along often!
Canada (several pages starting here)is also represented with quite a few attractive "better" stamps added.
Quite a few more interesting worldwide stamps have been added from the following countries: British Antarctic Territory (BAT), Christmas Island, Falkland Islands, South Georgia, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand including many very nice perforated and imperforate souvenir sheets, Vietnam, Romania. The 2007 Scandinavian Year Books are in stock, along with virtually all the others that have been issued.. See the E-News for information and links.
The new 21 February 2008 E-News has been issued. It includes information about the latest LAPE Finland Specialized Catalog, a new book on Danish Postal Rates, details about a second type (previously unrecorded) of a recent Finnish souvenir sheet, pricing for a U.S. item just featured in Linn's Stamp Market Tips, as well as interesting collections and literature items.
New on 31 January 2008:
Iceland Tollur (Revenue) Cancellations -- many have been added including scarce items, later issues, airmails, and scarce blocks. See all 4 pages.
   
Greenland Pakke-Porto Stamps have been greatly expanded, including Gallery (high quality and/or specialized varieties), Bargains, Regular listings (2 pages), Village Cancellations, and Avane (Savings) Cancellations.
Slania-Engraved Monaco IMPERFORATE souvenir sheets: Scott #1863 and #1925. These two extremely scarce imperf s/s are virtually unknown to either Monaco or Slania collectors.
Some interesting items have been added to the United States Stamps including a stamp autographed by "Farley's Follies" postmaster James A. Farley.
Many British Colonies listings have been added for: Natal, New Hebrides, Niger Coast Protectorate, Nigeria, North Borneo, Northern Nigeria, Northern Rhodesia, Northwest Pacific Islands, Nyasaland Protectorate, and Orange River.

Norgeskatalogen 2008 The catalog for Norwegian specialists. Greatly revised and expanded; an incredible catalog that must be seen to be believed.
I have just added a large number of Danish and Icelandic early- and middle-period stamps to the website, especially Mint Hinged and Never Hinged stamps with nice centering. Norwegian Seamen Homes in Foreign Ports Christmas Seals have been listed with illustrations of virtually all (even if not in stock at the moment). These seals are seldom offered, but include many sought-after topicals / thematics such as lighthouses, safety at sea, ships, etc. This is the only such on-line listing I am aware of. (I am interested in buying these items as well.)
New on 28 November 2007:
The AFA 2008 Danish Area SPECIALIZED Catalog has been released and is now in stock. The AFA SPECIALIZED Catalog is issued only every few years. The last edition was in 2002. Once again, this catalog is improved and expanded, now a total of 912 pages! Covering just about every aspect of Danish-area philately, it is THE specialized catalog or "bible" for Denmark, Faroe, Greenland, Danish West Indies, and Slesvig. If you are an intermediate or advanced collector of any of these areas -- or wish to be -- then you owe it to yourself to get this catalog.

New on 25 October 2007:
A large number of new items have been added to the Finland New Arrivals pages. The Stamps include a variety of nice early issues, varieties, postmarks, rare used blocks, etc. The Covers include a wide range from early pre-stamp letters, to a #2 on cover, to modern machine stamps on cover. The Diverse page includes lots of fun items: railway stamps on documents, shipping company stamps, labels, reprints, proofs, etc.
The Iceland Gallery pages now have some more high-quality stamps.
Some nice items have been added to the Denmark Gallery pages.
The Norway Tonsberg Locals page includes some new items. Tonsberg's issues picture whales among other topics.
New pages have been added for Slania-Engraved Sweden Revenues. Whether you collect Slania or Swedish Revenues in general, you will want to see these very scarce stamps. (Same listings in either section.)

New on 4 October 2007:
A new website Special has been posted: Slania's 1000th Stamp official pack at a special price. The pack includes the blackprint which was only issued in the pack.
The new annual AFA catalogs have arrived from Denmark.
A new Slania page has been added to the website: Slania-Engraved Monaco stamps on postally used covers. Whether or not for the Slania stamps, these covers are scarce and many include scarcer thematic / topical postmarks covering a huge range of subjects. Again, all are postally used!
In addition to the full Iceland stamp price list on the website, I have now added hundreds of one-of-a-kind stamps in the Gallery and Bargains sections. You can see those stamps in those sections, or you can now also view them directly in amongst the listings of the full Iceland stamp price list.

| New Printed Price Lists Available by Postal Mail |

New printed price lists of all -- and only -- the items on the website are available. The printed price lists do not include the illustrations. The printed price lists are updated regularly; at least as often as the website updates noted here.
There are separate lists for Scandinavia, Slania-Engraved, U.S. & World, and U.S.-Only Stamps. Please only request the lists you actually need. Please read this if you are in the U.S. or Canada or this if you are in another country. Then send an email and please specifically state if you want the Scandinavia, Slania, U.S. & World, or U.S.-Only price lists. (Repeated non-specific requests will probably be ignored.)
Please note that these lists only include what you see listed on this website and are provided simply as a convenience. If you what you are seeking is not shown on the website, then please send your want list rather than just requesting a price list. Clients who send want lists always have access to the freshest stock and new items as they come in.
For U.S. and Canadian Clients...
The first copy of printed price lists will be sent to U.S. and Canadian clients at no charge. Further updates can be sent, upon request, at no charge to those clients actively making purchases or who send want lists. Otherwise there may be a postage charge for further updates -- these lists cost several dollars each to print and mail.
For Overseas Clients...
Unfortunately, due to the large number of requests received from overseas people who seem to just collect "free price lists" -- and because a) all the information the lists contain is on this website and b) the overseas airmail postage cost is very high -- there will be a $10 shipping charge (payable by MasterCard, Visa, PayPal, cash, US$ check, etc.) for price lists sent to overseas addresses. A $10 credit voucher will be included with the price lists and will be valid on any purchase of $50 or more.

| To meet my own need for catalog number concordances, I have finally started publishing comprehensive catalog number concordances for the Scandinavian countries. At this moment only DWI, Greenland, and Iceland are ready (the later two only up to 1995, so far). However, I will be preparing these bidirectional catalog number concordances for all the Scandinavian countries and eventually will include the other specialized catalogs as well. Reservations are welcomed. These are very inexpensive (considering the labor required to make them) and are published loose-leaf. An attractive binder is available. I intend to update the concordances annually; subscriptions are available. Though these have only been available for a few weeks, they have been a great hit. You will find them extremely useful! |

| These are genuine Facit Catalog pages, not copies (of course!). They are loose pages; please be aware that there is no room for binding -- you will have to figure out for yourself how to bind or otherwise manage them. The pricing is by country. There are sometimes conflicts involving back-to-back countries, thus I am offering the pages a number of different ways to compensate for this. Supply is very limited. If you have always wanted a Facit Catalog, but could not justify it for "just one country", this is your chance -- but you must act quickly. This is the largest national annual show in the U.S. It is held in a different part of the country every year. There will be a very large number of dealers, post offices, clubs & societies, exhibits, and fellow philatelists. Start planning today to attend. You will be glad you did.

Chicagopex 2008

This major Chicagoland show is part of the APS World Series of Philately. The location is convenient from O'Hare Airport ; about 5-6 miles northwest and shuttle bus service probably available from O'Hare. This year Chicagopex will also host the conventions of the Scandinavian Collectors Club and the Mobile Post Office Society. We have been invited to attend but do not yet have final details. This is an excellent show with many dealers and exhibits. Plan to attend.
