Danish 1990-2007 Machine Stamps (also called automat stamps) were dispensed from machines manufactured by the Frama company, thus the name FRAMA stamps. From 2006 onward (except for one last 2007 Frama issue), self-adhesive machine stamps from a different type of machine were issued. These are all real postage stamps, not meters or labels. They are valid from any location in Denmark, at any time, by any mailer. (Unlike meter imprints which are only valid from the location and on the date imprinted, by the licensed user.) These stamps are collected in "rate sets", the most commonly used postage rates for which the machines had pre-set purchase options and/or which the post office offered in sets. All but the first of the Frama issues are sets of three designs, typically with three standard rates; most collectors thus collect them in sets of nine stamps. The dates are the first dates that the respective design was available in the respective postage rate period. If you are seeking items that are either noted as out of stock and/or are simply not listed, please send your want list. When available, I offer the smaller sets of the minimum different designs as well as random singles -- in both cases, the denomination may vary from the image on the website.

FRAMA machine stamp of the first (1990) issue with 00.00 denomination. NH VF. Presumably this was produced by technicians testing / servicing the machine. I have only had two such 00.00 stamps and do not recall seeing any reports of others. Over time such items from other countries have proven to be extremely scarce.

1998 March 26: New Post Emblem, RED background. Facit #EA.5-7. Complete set of all three designs MISSING DENOMINATIONS. NH VF. Danish Machine Stamps missing denomination would only have come either by incorrect operation of the machine vending the stamps without printing the denomination (which I am not aware of happening, but it is certainly a possibility) or during the servicing of a machine when the technician tested the feeding of the stamp paper. Technicians were supposed to use some sort of testing paper when servicing, however, after re-inserting the proper stamp paper it is reasonable for the technician to have again tested the feeding. Of course any such missing-denomination stamps or incorrectly printed (by the technician) stamps were supposed to be either turned in to the postal authorities and/or destroyed. While such Danish MISSING DENOMINATION Machine Stamps are not unheard of, in my experience they are extremely scarce. As of January 2024, this is the first time I have been able to offer any Danish Frama stamps missing their denominations. They are an important part of a specialized collection of Machine Stamps and modern Danish philately in general.
