Facit #H2 [1939 M-30 Lions] Complete Set of 5 booklet panes, with cover and interleaves (staple removed). The panes have mountings (I = Inverted by bottom margin, R = Regular/Upright by top margin; x = Perforated Margin, y = Imperforate Margin): Ix, Rx, Ix, Ix, Ix. The mounting information is given as normally mounted in the booklets: from highest to lowest denomination. As is usually the case, the panes are attached by their selvage/margin to the interleaves and cover (the stamps are not attached and are NH). The cover is Edition number "1" (violet number on back cover; somewhat scarcer number). (The covers almost always have an Edition number, one of 1, 3, 7, 10, or 11. They are only rarely found without an Edition number). As of 3/025, I have only recorded having six pane combinations in complete booklets for Edition 1; I had not previously recorded this particular combination. Very attractive and easier to display than a booklet that is still stapled. ACTUAL item. |
