Though I thought I recalled seeing a catalog listing of Norwegian IRCs, I am unable to locate it. If you know of a good listing of the Norwegian IRCs, please let me know. In my experience, Norwegian IRCs are very seldom offered.
International Reply Coupon (IRC): 100 öre 1929 Type C (London UPU Congress 1929) with "FORMULE C22" in upper right corner, larger text in lower corners, and text differences on reverse. "NORVEGE - NORGE" printed in blue and denomination "100 ÖRE" printed in blue (even though should have been "ØRE"). Even though this is the "1929 type", this type/denomination was being sold well into the 1960s, even after the 1964 "Vienna" Type D was released. This example was sold and postmarked on left side at "OSLO / FRIM." 1 October 1959. This is in "Mint" (NH) Postmarked VF condition and was never redeemed for stamps to mail a letter. (If it had been redeemed to mail a letter -- thus "Used" -- there would be another postmark, on the right side.) Norwegian examples of the 1929 Type are remarkably hard to find!
