Scott #U350 [1893 5c Columbian Exposition] Envelope cut square, Mint VF. Light chocolate brown color on yellowish-white diagonally laid paper. Extremely blurry impression -- quite unusual compared to the very clear impressions I usually see. There is a clear meridian line behind the Columbus head, but I cannot determine if there is a period after CENTS, thus either Die A=1 or C=3. Interesting variety. ACTUAL item. |
