Scott #UC3 [1934 6 cent orange Plane, Die 2a, Bicolored Border] Used F-VF 5 November 1942 from a sailor at "Section Base, Bishops Point, Oahu, T.H.", HAWAII with generic "U.S. NAVY" 3-bar cancel. "PASSED BY NAVAL CENSOR" violet handstamp. Small violet "Sailors Mail" handstamp below the indicia. Creased, but very attractive. Addressed to Dartmouth College, and with their receiving handstamp "Nov 9 - 1942".

Scott #C64 [1962 8c Plane over Capitol] (VF) on 9 July 1964 cover to the U.S. from a Spec/4 with "A Btry, 1st Bn, 8th Arty, APO 125" (or 25?) and canceled with "WAHIAWA, HAWAII" machine cancellation, 6 lines with text "SCHOFIELD BARRACKS STA.". The stamp is a BOOKLET single. A Vietnam-era use on a nice all-over image of a Hawaiian dancer and related images, on the back as well. The back was sealed with tape, but the front looks spectacular. Interesting and attractive covers from this era are surprisingly hard to find.

Scott #1592 [1977 10c Contemplation of Justice, Americana series] (VF) on 5 August 1978 picture post card (beach scene) with 2-ring reddish-black "HONOLULU, HI WAIKIKI STA. / USPO" cancellation. "FALLS OF CLYDE" handstamped cachet, probably from a tourist visit to the tall ship at the museum in Honolulu ("Falls of Clyde is the last surviving iron-hulled, four-masted full-rigged ship, and the only remaining sail-driven oil tanker."). Personal non-philatelic tourist mail.
