Sweden / Åland: An unusual form of Swedish "postal stationery" (listed by Facit under Swedish military postal stationery), a coupon used to obtain stamps for the Swedish soldiers stationed in Åland in 1918 -- only used for Swedish soldiers in Åland. There are two types listed by Facit. This is Type A, used to obtain official mail stamps. (Type B was used to obtain official mail postal stationery envelopes; extremely rare, Facit indicates one example known.) Mint VF in perfect condition. The only time I have been able to obtain any of these was a small group of 6-8 examples that I found in an old dealer stock in Sweden in 1995; I have not seen any before or since.
