These bargain-priced stamps are attractive, but most have hidden flaws. You can save a tremendous amount of money when you add such stamps to your collection. Each stamp is one of a kind, so please let me know if I may substitute a different example (that looks as good or better, for the same cost) if the stamp you order has sold. If you have any doubts, all are available for approval viewing. If you are seeking stamps of this quality and price level from any of the Scandinavian countries, just send along your want list -- I will be happy to send bargains on approval. Scott numbers have been used unless otherwise stated.
18 [1901 4 cent Bicolor, Perforation 12.75] Used with VF centering and excellent appearance, but with a tiny thin speck. Neat 4-ring cancellation leaving most of the blue center oval "face free". Otherwise $17.50 for this centering.

Scott #18b INVERTED FRAME, Facit #16bv2, AFA 2016 Specialized #7By Print 4, Positions 91-100, Brownish Yellow and Clear Blue [1901 4 Cent Bicolor, Perforation 12.75, Inverted Frame, the 1902 second printing of this perforation] Used with Fine centering and a neat cancellation which well away from the corners where the inverted frame can be clearly seen. An attractive example with excellent perforations and clearly visible inverted frame. THIS stamp is from the second of the two printings of the Perf 12.75 4-cent stamps (the 4th overall printing of all the 4-cent Bicolors, counting both perforations). Inverted frame stamps exist from both of the Perf 12.75 printings. In the first Perf 12.75 printing (greenish blue center), the inverted frame exists ONLY from position 51 and has visible characteristics (in addition to color) that separate it from the position 51 inverted frame stamps that exist in the second Perf 12.75 printing (clear blue center color). In Print 4, the inverted frame stamps also exist in sheet positions 91-100, those being the more "common" (but still quite hard to find) 4 cent inverted frames (and correspond to what Scott lists as #18b). It is also worth noting that because of the difference in spacing of the stamps in the printing plate VS the spacing of the perforation tool, the bottom row stamps (inverted frame positions 91-100) are almost always only Fine centered; better centering of that row is "very scarce". The Facit 2024 Used value is SEK 1200. A nice example of a stamp that is missing from most collections.

20 [1901 10 cent Bicolor, Perf 12.75] NEVER HINGED with Fine centering. Wonderfully fresh with perfect perforations and bright colors. For comparison, NH VF would be $310 and NH F-VF would be $235. A key stamp missing from most collections.

Scott #20b "T.S" VARIETY, Facit #18v11, AFA #11Bx [1901 10 cent Bicolor, Perforation 12.75] Used with F-VF centering and proper St. Thomas cancellation, but with a tiny tear at the lower left corner cause by the pressure of the canceling device. The "T.S" variety is clear with a large ".", though the cancellation is right next to it. This stamp -- and especially this major variety -- is "scarce" in Used condition. The tiny tear can only be seen from the reverse; and then probably only under 10x magnification -- the previous owner did not know about it. A key variety that is missing from most collections. This variety, with this centering would otherwise be $180!
