Scott #15 [1920 Zone 1 (With Overprint) 2-1/2 øre] NEVER HINGED Upper Left Corner Margin BLOCK OF FOUR with Fine centering. There is a tear in the outer selvage near the corner, but marginal block (or any blocks) of the Zone 1 overprinted stamps are surprisingly seldom encountered. A nice inexpensive item to "dress up" your Slesvig album pages. ACTUAL item. |

Scott #25 [1920 Zone 1 (With Overprint) 1 mark] Used with VF centering and with Superb "AABENRAA / 1" single-ring-bridge-style 20 June 1920 cancellation in black. This stamp is "very scarce" with such nice centering and "especially scarce" with such a nicely struck cancellation. In fact, the Zone 1 stamps in general are much less often seen with well-centered, complete cancellations. The Zone 1, the Northern (Danish) Zone, stamps were valid until 15 July 1920, after which they were replaced with Danish stamps. ACTUAL item. |
