Israel FDC Collection 1985-1988: Group of 22 1985-1988 FDCs, plus two FD-canceled official post office New Year cards bearing the 1987 and 1988 International Synagogue issues. (The New Year cards are likely to be hard to find.) All items with full tabs. All appear to be officially issued FDCs except for a few that appear to be the official FDCs from large stamp shows. All are cacheted, unaddressed, and in pristine condition. Five of the 22 FDCs bear souvenir sheets; the canceled souvenir sheets have catalog values in the $3 to $6 range. There are many interesting topic represented, including Joint Issue, Science, Meteorology, Music, Water, Synagogues, Religion, Owls, Sports, Art, Archeology, and much more. An excellent group to add to an existing collection or to start a collection. |
