1633-82 [1976 Fifty State Flags] Set of 50 UNcacheted, UNaddressed, VF first day covers, each bearing a single stamp. These are often sought out by collectors and cachet makers who want to a) add cachets to covers and/or b) make combination FDCs with new stamp issues. When an appropriate new stamp issue comes out, there is always a scramble (often unsuccessful) to find plain/blank FDCs like these. Shipping cost is additional for this item.

The album is the short format, two covers high. Offered at an absurdly low price, only 69 cents per cover!! Shipping cost is additional for this item.

Scott #2122 [1985 $10.75 Eagle and Moon, Express Mail] April 29 1985 First Day Cover with Fleetwood cachet. VF stamp, but with slight crease (only visible at a certain angle; was this way before being applied to the cover). Otherwise very fresh and attractive. With very clear USPS FD cancellation, but is a postmark version only applied to covers from some of the cachet makers: The "1985" is much larger than the rest of the date and in the "94188" zip code, the "1" is taller and the "88" are quite irregularly shaped. I do not know if the Fleetwood cachet exists with other cancellation types. Unaddressed. This cachet is one of the more "in demand" FDCs for #1909. (Scott 2022 $50; dealers list $50-60 for this cachet.)

2216a-i-2219a-i [1986 U.S. Presidents (Ameripex)] First Day Covers with "HF" Cachets: The complete set of 36 FDCs of the 1986 Presidential Issue (Scott 2216a-2219i) on "HF" (House of Farnum) engraved multi-colored cacheted UNaddressed FDCs. HF cachets are not so often seen, which is a shame, and have a strong following. A major FDC dealer lists this less-common set at a "regular" price of $75 and currently on special at $45. With 36 covers in the set, all in perfect condition, this should be worth much more than my low price. Shipping cost is additional for this item.

Scott #2286-2335 1987 North American Wildlife First Day Covers: Artcraft/PCS Cacheted Complete Set: Scott #2286-2335 [1987 22c North American Wildlife] Complete set of 50 Artcraft (made for PCS) engraved cacheted first day covers. The cachet designs are wonderfully engraved with a lot of detail, a different matching design for each stamp. Making 50 different engravings under time pressure for a stamp issue is no small feat! A handsome and desirable set, VF, perfect condition, fresh and clean. Addressed, as these were issued for PCS. Contained in a special album with text about the wildlife on each different stamp. Retail value is right around $75 for this particular set of 50 beautiful covers! Less than 50 cents per cover! Shipping cost is additional for this item.

Elvis Presley First Day Cover Collection: Cachets and Cancellations of the 3 Different U.S. Elvis Stamp Issues: A large collection of ONLY Elvis covers; a 14-inch stack covers -- approximately 650 covers (not counted). The vast majority are FDCs of the three different 1993 Elvis stamps, with a plethora of different cachets and/or cancellations. There are some (less than 10% I would say) that are not FDCs, but have other Elvis-themed cancellations. Though the cachets are not all different (there may be various different FD cancels for the same cachet; likely very low volume items), the overall variety is incredible. These were collected by an avid philatelist and Elvis fan who lived in the Memphis area at the time and he had contacts with local cachet makers, etc. -- some of them are surely very-low-quantity cachets. As a wonderful coincidence, the American First Day Cover Society has just (late 2020) published an Elvis FDC cachets catalog either as a downloaded PDF or as unbound printed pages that can be purchased here. With this collection and that catalog, you will have a huge head start on a terrific collection. Some of these covers are going to be scarce due to various factors, though not necessarily valuable. However, certainly there are covers present up to at least $5 in value, if not more. Priced as a collection at LESS THAN 50-cents per cover, this is a huge bargain. Keep in mind that the stamp itself cost 29 cents and the postage to obtain each one cost either 29 cents or 58 cents! I do not think you will find a better deal. Get him while Elvis IS In The Building! Shipping cost is additional for this item.

May 28, 2006 Samuel de Champlain Joint Issue with Canada Souvenir Sheet. 4074 Souvenir Sheet -- the U.S. version of the issue without a barcode -- on an official U.S. BLANK first day cover. The souvenir sheet includes two of the U.S. stamps and two of the Canadian; the FDC is canceled with a U.S. FD cancellation on the two U.S. stamps and a Canadian FD cancellation on the two Canadian stamps. While this FDC is not "scarce", fresh and attractive examples, without creases, can be hard to find because of their size (9.5 x 8 inches). This example has selected VF or better centering (which is a bit scarce, especially for mint examples of the souvenir sheet).
