Only 9 of the 42 black print designs and only 3 of the 14 color designs are Slania engraved or designed (all of the remaining stamp designs do have significant value, but are included at no extra cost). Scott #4578 [2021 15.30 zl Slania Stamp Engraver, 100th Anniversary of Birth; Joint Issue with Sweden] NH VF souvenir sheet. An engraved design (by three designers and engravers) picturing Slania engraving a stamp die, plus an image of him as a young man and showing his 90 gr "Battle of Grunwald" diploma work "stamp" (not an issued postage stamp). This Polish issue was a fast sell out and has become quite hard to find, with demand far out-stripping supply. I was lucky to obtain a few examples. |
