Faroe: Souvenir Cards: Official Postal Christmas Cards
With only a couple minor exceptions, the only officially issued Faroe "souvenir cards" are their so-called officially-issued "album pages". Additional items are usually in stock, but not on the website; please request approvals.
In some years, Faroe has produced official Christmas cards. The format varies from cards/folders that look like souvenir cards/folders, to specially produced versions of the official stamp-issue "stamp cards", but with official Christmas greetings on the reverse. They may or may not have been produced with stams affixed. Some of these cards were sent only to "more important" correspondents, sometimes with added personal signatures of postal officials, while others appear to have been sent to all new issue service subscribers. To my knowledge all were strictly only one per person, though those sent to all subscribers are more common. These are not listed in any catalog and I have never seen them even mentioned in the literature. (If you know of any articles or listings, please let me know.)
