Official Faroe Amphilex 1977 Stamp Exhibition / Show Card. Used VF card bearing a Netherlands 55+45 semi-postal Amphilex stamp, with an "Airmail Day" 30 May 1977 show cancellation, and a Faroe 1976 Flag stamp (Scott #22) canceled with a 11 June 1977 GJOGV pr TORSHAVN village cancellation. Used cards were normally of this type of use; posted at the Faroe show booth, carried back to the Faroes by the post office staff, and then mailed from the Faroes. The card pictures a coastal scene at the village where the stamp is canceled. Listed and pictured by Wowern GF10 1991 (Card #4). Daka GF 10 2017 #EC4. |

Official Faroe Nordfrimex 1983 Stamp Exhibition / Show Card bearing the three single stamps from the 1983 Nordic House souvenir sheet with 4 November 1983 first day (machine struck) cancellations (issued during the 3-6 November show). The card is a picture post card picturing the exterior of the Nordic House in Torshavn, Faroe. Quite scarce: As of 2/2022 ,I have only seen fewer than 10 of these cards. Wowern GF10 1991 (Card #12a) stated that the quantity issued was not known to him, but that the cards were sold for DKK 15 on a "very strict one-per-person basis". Daka GF 10 2017 #EC14 canceled with stamps. |

Official Faroe Ærøskøbing 1983 and 1984 Stamp Exhibition / Show Card. Mint VF card picturing an old town house (dated 1749) and a large church (no text related to the stamp show). Backside pictures a small North Atlantic map with arrows to Faroe. Listed and pictured by Wowern GF10 1991 (Card #11). As of 2/2022 I cannot recall seeing any canceled examples of this card. This is probably Daka GF 10 2017 #EC12, but there is no illustration in that catalog. |
