Faroe: Souvenir Folders And Presentation Packs: Booklet Packs

I have much more material in this category than I have had time to list here. If you are seeking any Faroe souvenir folders, presentation packs, souvenir cards, or related items, including joint-issue items, just let me know.

Faroe started issuing booklet packs with little fanfare around 2002, apparently issuing packs for 1999-2002 somewhat retroactively, and then continuing on. There were a total 12 booklet packs issued for each of the individual booklet issues from 1999 through 2004 when the last such was issued. Then for 2005, 2006, and 2007, annual "booklet year packs" were issued; they contained one-each of all the mint booklets issued in the year and a description page for each issue -- in those years a generic folder/package was used. Lastly, only for 2008, individual booklet packs resumed, with the description page, but still using the generic folder/package as the previous three years. I do not know of any later booklet pack issues [written October 2019]. Each pack contains a complete mint booklet(s) along with illustrations and Faroese and English text. (If they were issued in other languages, I do not know about them.) The 1999-2004 booklet packs are listed in the 2017 DAKA GF10 Faroe Catalog which I do offer. However the later booklet packs are not listed in any catalog. I do not know how many of each pack was issued, but I suspect that quantities were quite small, perhaps as low as a few hundred in some cases. Very few collectors either do not know that they exist and/or have never seen even on example of any. I am probably be the only dealer who offered them for sale in North America back at the time of issue. As of this writing in October 2019, I do not recall seeing any other offers (including in online auctions) of these booklet packs! They are scarce!
