Individually numbered edition of only 3000 -- thus only 3000 each of the two imperforate items can exist! The front cover of the souvenir folder is actually signed by designer Edward Fuglø and engraver Martin Mørck. Text in English and German. This folder is now quite hard to find; this is the only source of the two imperforate items! |

2016 Codfish. 2016 Codfish. Souvenir Folder/Pack containing Faroe Scott #668 NH single and the official #668 cacheted first day cover. This pack is one of a numbered edition of 288 that is signed and numbered by the engraver Martin Mörck. (I do not know if any unnumbered or unsigned packs exist; this is the only example of any form of this pack that I have seen.) I do not know the original issue price of this pack, however, the few other signed packs (for other stamps issues) that have been released have had high issue prices because the engraver is compensated. The pack is quite interesting as it includes Chinese text because of the great interest in Faroe stamps in China (especially engraved stamps and the engraving work of Martin Mörck) and the pack was issued in conjunction with the China 2016 Asian International Stamp Exhibition in Nanning. [This Codfish stamp production method is unique and every stamp is unique: A piece of dried codfish skin (the yellow part in the image) was applied to the stamp and then printed in red by typography. The skin pattern is different on every stamp, thus every stamp is unique.] |

2017 "The Seven Swans" Fairy Tale. Souvenir Folder/Pack containing Faroe Scott #687-8 single NH set, 688a NH souvenir sheet, and 688a official first day cover. This stamp issue is designed in a Chinese style by Li Yunzhong and engraved by Martin Mörck. (Some of the Scandinavian post offices have been doing a lot cooperative and training work with Chinese stamp artists and engravers.) Officially issued in a quantity of 400; this is example is numbered. Very limited and now hard to obtain, with interest from Faroe collectors, Mörck collectors, and collectors of Chinese art, etc. |
