Danish advertising pairs and panes are listed, using identical numbering, by both Facit and AFA. The centering of the advertising labels and the stamps varies greatly within the panes and pairs; examples with VF centering are unusual in most cases; Superb centering is exceptional. The perforations of these issues were often quite variable, with small-hole perforations that resulted in rough appearance -- this is usually normal and typical. You will note in the illustrations that sometimes the postmark does not continue onto the label. This is typical and normal due to postal regulations which stated that the labels were not permitted on international mail. Thus, on covers, the labels were often covered by other stamps (which masked the postmarks).
