Denmark: Locals: Aalborg
Danish local post stamps are best cataloged by (and is the primary numbering I use in these listings) Christensen and Ringström which is in stock. The Daka Local Post Catalog is also sometimes used with numbers in [brackets]. The Daka catalog is also in stock.

Condition standards for locals are not the same as for regular stamps. In certain issues minor defects are the norm. Defects that affect the value or appearance of the stamps will be mentioned. As always, all items are guaranteed, as is your satisfaction.

I have an extensive stock, including parts of the Ringstrom collection, of mint and used locals available via approvals. Tell me about your interests.

Aalborg PROOF CR #P 3 variety [1886 1 øre brown Three Towers] Mint F-VF no gum (as printed), with small thin spot and an adhesion on reverse that does not soak off. IMPERFORATE with complete design and cutting lines around, PLUS another design (not sure of what) also in brown. CR mentions this variety as "originally used for another brown proof", but does not assign valuations to any of the Aalborg proofs. Interesting local post proof, very seldom offered.
