1983 Fisherman Lifesaver charity seal tied to 1 November 1983 cover along with Scott #94 [Chess Queen]. The previous owner stated this was the FD for the seal, but the cover does appear to be genuinely used. Also accompanied by Mint 1982 seal; presented on album page. Charity was to help the widows of fisherman who died at sea. #94 solo usage on cover is a $25 item; the charity seals are extremely scarce tied on cover (especially small-size, non-window envelopes such as this). Though a modern item, this is very scarce.

1987 souvenir card jointly issued by Faroe and Norway with 1987 Europa stamps of both countries, canceled 7 September 1987. The image is a composite of landscapes: Nólsoy in the Faroes and Runde in Norway. Seldom offered.

Freight Stamp Wowern #33 (1988 GF 14 catalog) [50 Øre Brown] VF on Superb 22 August 1934 fragtbrev ("freight letter" = invoice for freight shipment) for cheese and margarine carried on the ship Dugvan. Wowern noted that approximately 100 used stamps of this value were known to exist but that mint examples were not known. Of that 100, certainly no more than a couple dozen (if that!) would still exist on fragtbrev (the normal method of usage). Very scarce!

1988 Blackprint (Scott #184 Cathedral ruins), engraved, imperforate, numbered. (Only issued in the 1988 year book.) Very nice looking with bend in upper left margin away from stamp design. Normally $52! Wonderful Slania-engraved item.
