Iceland: Bargains: Bargain Stamps - Scott #8-20: 1876-1895 Perf 14x13.5 Numerals

These bargain-priced stamps are attractive, but most have hidden flaws. You can save a tremendous amount of money when you add such stamps to your collection. Each stamp is one of a kind, so please let me know if I may substitute a different example (that looks as good or better, for the same cost) if the stamp you order has sold. If you have any doubts, all are available for approval viewing. If you are seeking stamps of this quality and price level from any of the Scandinavian countries, just send along your want list -- I will be happy to send bargains on approval. Scott numbers have been used unless otherwise stated.

222036	13, Facit 14a (Print 1: Light violet, blurred print on thin paper) Used F-VF+ appearing example with neat genuine provincial cancellation. This printing was on such thin paper that examples are usually defective and in this case it has a couple tiny tears at two corner perfs. This printing is the less costly of the two possibilities, but it is still quite scarce. Facit 2006 value SEK 4400 = $615 for normal undamaged quality. This example is much nicer looking than usual.	---	120.00
222038	13, Facit 14b (Print 2: Dark violet, clear print on thin paper) Used Fine appearing example with neat, genuine cancellation. This printing is extremely scarce in used condition (Facit 2006 value SEK 8000 = $1120!) and is printed on such thin paper that examples are usually defective. This example has a tiny thin spot, but is otherwise in sound quality. More attractive and with darker color than usually seen.	---	225.00
