Faroe postmarks have been most recently cataloged and valued in the DAKA 2010 Faroe Islands GF10 Stamps and Postal History Catalog which I have available. The Daka postmark numbering system, which I normally use, is different from the previous Wowern system. Scott numbers have been used for the stamps unless otherwise indicated.
I have a broad stock of towns, types, and eras of Faroe cancellations including star, starless, town/bridge, ship, etc. The displayed items and much more of all types of Faroe cancellations are available for viewing on approval; please request approvals.
Faroe: EJDE star cancellation, GF10 #05.01 on Denmark Scott #I1 [1923 10 øre LATE FEE stamp with "GEBYR / GEBYR" Overprint on Postage Due Stamp] Used VF with faint Faroe EJDE star cancellation, GF10 #05.01 with a catalog value of DKK 100 on a single stamp, back in 2017. However, Late Fee stamps are "very scarce" used in the Faroes and examples canceled other than in Thorshavn are "extremely scarce", especially this first Late Fee issue. It is very difficult to read the cancellation on this stamp, but it is clearly a star cancellation, with space only for four letters, the first and last letters are readable: "E....E". There were only two Danish star cancellations that had four letters starting and ending with E: EJDE in the Faroes and ESPE (near Ringe, Denmark). However, the ESPE was only used 1890-1908 and thus could not exist on this stamp. The EJDE canceler in the Faroes was used 1903-1929; this stamp was issued in 1923, thus EJDE is the only possibility. Despite the modest catalog value (on a normal stamp) and the quality of the cancellation strike, this is a "rare" item -- however it is priced extremely low due to the quality of the strike.

Faroe: EJDE starless (uds) cancellation, GF10 #05.02 on Denmark Scott #220 x2, 224, 240 x3 [1939 1 øre dark greenish black Wavy-Lines; 1940 6 øre orange Wavy-Lines; 1934 bluish green Christian X] Used VF on piece of parcel, COD, or money order card with SIX VF to Superb strikes of the cancellation, plus a hard-to-read Thorshavn dated cancellation. There is a violet processing date handstamp on the back, but it only reads 19 April (no year) -- however, based on the 6 øre stamp issued 23 March, we know that this must have been used in 1940 or after (based on these dates, likely 1941 or after). The 188 øre postal rate is remarkably unusual, as is the combination of stamps and overall attractiveness. A very nice item!

The reverse of the piece happens to bear a post office processing handstamp dated 22 April 1943 -- during the WWII British Occupation of the Faroes. A very attractive war-time use.
