Albums and Supplies: Albums: Scandinavia
As I buy collections, I often end up with a variety of albums and binders in good condition. If you are seeking used binders or used empty albums to match what you currently have, again, let me know. Here are a few samples of items currently available. The listings below are included by happenstance. If you are seeking a particular country or type of material, please let me know. I guarantee your satisfaction.

Due to the low prices, variations in weight, and different mailing methods, distances, and destinations, shipping cost is additional for items in the Specials Albums and Supplies listings unless otherwise mentioned. When ordering please include a note in the shopping cart comments section indicating if you prefer faster/costlier or slower/cheaper delivery so that I may more quickly quote the shipping costs and options for you.

Each item is one of a kind; orders will be filled in order of receipt. Payment by MasterCard or Visa suggested, but I will hold items for 10 days pending receipt of check if you prefer.

Scandinavia Scott Specialty Album in Two Binders, With Some Stamps: Scott Specialty album for Scandinavia with clean, usable pages that appear to be complete from the beginning (1851) to 1976, in two like-new 2-inch green 2-post Scott Specialty "SCANDINAVIA / FINLAND" gold imprinted binders. This contains a few hundred different F-VF and VF used stamps, including many mid-20th century commemoratives, which could serve as a starter for a newcomer to Scandinavian philately. Some tamps have been neatly removed, but what is present is in very nice quality often with much better than usual centering and mostly light cancellations. In fact, these stamps might offer some upgrades to an existing collection. Much of the value here is in the album pages and binders, but you will also be pleased with the quality of the stamps that would like to become part of a larger collection. The 2-inch Scandinavian albums are no longer made and are now quite hard to find. If you do not wish to collect modern stamps, this is an extremely affordable way to get the album pages.

Stender DWI and Slesvig Hingeless Album Page Set: Complete set of Stender Danish West Indies and Slesvig album pages, with factory installed clear stamp mounts (i.e. hingeless). This was taken from a collection, but it does not appear that stamps were ever put in these pages; like-new or better. Two-post punched as usual to fit Stender albums, but an enterprising person could either add punch holes for another similar size of album, or one could cut down the pages to fit in a U.S. 3-ring album. New retail is $59, and this does look new.

Stender Superb DENMARK Hingeless 1851-1991 Album, NEW: Brand-new album including all the pages from the first Danish stamp (1851) into 1991, including the back-of-book stamps for that period. Hingeless, i.e. with clear mounts already factory installed in the album. All you need to do is add the stamps. What is the catch? None! Stender does not offer their albums in parts, it is all or nothing. A client only wanted the modern pages and was willing to pay a little extra to divide the album. Since some people ask about these earlier pages as a part, this is perfect. This is the latest printing of the album with all-matching pages and with the latest binder style. It is currently in a Red binder, but I could put it in Blue or Green if you wish. This does not include a slip case, but I can add a matching slip case at a 20% discount from the normal price. The approximate current price (essentially about half the pages of the complete album to date) is about $325, but this is not normally available even though it is something that people do request! This binder is close to full; if you add a lot of stamps, it will soon need another binder. I can add another binder if you wish (and another slip case if you wish) at 20% discount from the normal price. Getting the additional binder now is recommended to make sure of a color match. This album, limited to the earlier years, is not normally available. Do not hesitate! SPECIAL OFFER: You can get a 10% BONUS on purchases of more Danish stamps by paying (at time of ordering this album) any additional amount between $200 and $2000 and you will receive a merchandise certificate of that amount plus 10% more, for your future purchases of Danish stamps from JSA.

Denmark and Greenland 1851-1973 Scott Specialty Album With a Few Stamps: This is primarily an album, in which there are perhaps 130 used stamps from about 1905 to about 1950. The stamps are of minimal financial value, but include some that have catalog values ranging up to perhaps 75 cents and appear to be in excellent quality. The Scott Specialty pages appear to be complete for Denmark and Greenland from the beginning in 1851 up into 1973; they are in very good used condition -- based on hinge marks in the spaces, there used to be many more stamps, but this came to me pretty much as it is (part of an estate). The binder is a 2-inch 2-post green Scott Specialty blank (not imprinted with a country name) binder in excellent gently-used condition; there are Denmark and Greenland labels affixed, but they can easily be pulled off if you prefer (so that the binder can be used for any country). This is an unusual offering that is perfect as a new home for the first 120 years of Danish (and early Greenland) stamps.

Sweden 1855-1994 Scott Specialty Album With Stamps: Depending upon how you think about it, this is either an album with some stamps OR a small collection in a very nice album. Sweden Scott Specialty album with Specialty pages complete from the beginning in 1855 to 1994; the pages are in excellent condition. Contained in a like-new (really sharp looking with bright imprinting) Scott Specialty 2.5-inch 2-post binder; the binder is gold stamped "SCANDINAVIA / FINLAND" on the spine. Contains some stamps in very neat black Showgard-style mounts, including some NH stamps from the 1970s and 1980s. There are some empty mounts. The older used stamps were not counted in the evaluation. The price is based on $49 for the stamps (guaranteed to be a great value) and $39 for the album (which is probably much too low). This is an excellent buy for anyone seeking an nice housing for their Swedish collection!

Stender Deluxe/Superb Binder, EXTREMELY DARK BLUE: Very gently used Stender binder in excellent condition; no defects or wear. NOTE COLOR and TEXTURE: this is a very lightly textured, extremely dark blue, with nearly smooth shiny surface. This version has not been made for quite a while and is impossible to obtain now. New cost of current style is $56.50. This is sought by many collectors needing an expansion binder and wanting to match their existing binders.
