Collections: World: By Country
I am constantly buying large and small collections and often have a variety of U.S. and Worldwide collections, lots, and accumulations available. If you are considering getting into a new area and would like a "starter collection" (whether small or large), let me know about your interest. Also, if you are seeking used binders or used empty albums to match what you currently have, again, let me know. Here are a few samples of collections. The listings below are included by happenstance. If you are seeking a particular country or type of material, please let me know. Payment plans are available. I guarantee your satisfaction.

Due to the low prices and variation in weight, shipping cost is additional for items in the Specials Collections listings unless otherwise mentioned. When ordering please include a note in the shopping cart comments section indicating if you prefer faster/costlier or slower/cheaper delivery so that I may more quickly quote the shipping costs and options for you.

Each item is one of a kind; orders will be filled in order of receipt. Payment by MasterCard or Visa suggested, but I will hold items for 10 days pending receipt of check if you prefer.

Belgium and Colonies 1861-1960 Collection in Scott Specialty Albums: 1861-1960 collection of over 800 different Belgium plus 290 different Belgium Colonies, some mint but majority used. In two 2.5-inch 2-post Scott Specialty album binders. This is basically a started collection which includes some medium values. While the largest part of the value is in Belgium and Belgian Congo, these are Benelux binders which also include a few hundred mostly used Netherlands and Colonies stamps, plus pages for Luxembourg (no stamps). Condition varies, but generally F-VF or better. The binders show slight wear but are still quite serviceable and alone could sell for $20 each.

Canada Collection in Lighthouse Hingeless Album 1859-1980: Collection of over 700 different, mint and used, on Lighthouse hingeless pages in red padded springback binder. Many better older issues including numerous items which catalog $100 or more each. Condition is very mixed: many nice appearing but with varying degrees of faults and some of the earlier issues are regummed. Scott 2011 catalog value of the older better items (cat $10.00+ each) will well exceed $5000! The less expensive older issues plus the mint issues of the 1940s-70s will total well over an additional $500. There are also a few items in visibly poor condition NOT included in these totals. In addition, retail value of the Lighthouse pages is over $300. The binder has a minor mark on the cover which can probably be cleaned off with care. A wonderful lot for someone who wants LOTS of catalog value at a LOW percentage and who is not too fussy about condition!

Ceylon Collection 1863-1989: Collection of about 390 different (plus some duplicates, mostly for blocks, color shades, perf varieties, etc.), mounted on various album pages. Some mint but mostly used. This includes useful medium values from Queen Victoria to King George VI plus a wide range of later commemoratives. Condition varies: there are half a dozen early issues in rather poor condition and a few others with minor faults, but the overwhelming majority will be F-VF or better with much VF. Scott 2008 retail is $524.95. You should be able to fill many spaces in your Ceylon collection with this one!
