Collections: World: Worldwide
I am constantly buying large and small collections and often have a variety of U.S. and Worldwide collections, lots, and accumulations available. If you are considering getting into a new area and would like a "starter collection" (whether small or large), let me know about your interest. Also, if you are seeking used binders or used empty albums to match what you currently have, again, let me know. Here are a few samples of collections. The listings below are included by happenstance. If you are seeking a particular country or type of material, please let me know. Payment plans are available. I guarantee your satisfaction.

Due to the low prices, variations in weight, and different mailing methods, distances, and destinations, shipping cost is additional for items in the Specials Collections listings unless otherwise mentioned. When ordering please include a note in the shopping cart comments section indicating if you prefer faster/costlier or slower/cheaper delivery so that I may more quickly quote the shipping costs and options for you.

Collections and lots are not normally sent on approval. If you have questions about an item, please inquire before ordering. Special return and refund limitations typically apply to such items. Please see the "Order Info" page for details.

Each item is one of a kind; orders will be filled in order of receipt. Payment by MasterCard or Visa suggested, but I will hold items for 10 days pending receipt of check if you prefer.

Worldwide Collection in 1966 Harris Statesman Album: An excellent and very clean example of this album, with 2.5-inch Statesman binder in near-new condition and the pages as clean and nice as I have ever seen. Contains only a few hundred stamps, with more U.S. (1880s-1960s) than other countries which are mostly very sparse. The value of the stamps is minimal, however, because the album is in such great shape, this would be very helpful for getting a youngster involved in collecting -- the size and scope of the album is quite manageable for a youngster. Also, if you have a Statesman binder in need of replacement, this is what you need.

Floor Sweepings -- United States -- Large Box: This U.S. floor sweepings lot has material from at least 12 different estates and collections. It nearly fills a big box: 23 x 17 x 7 inches and weighs about 23 pounds! That is a LOT of stamps! There are a few collection remainders. There are bundles, bags, and envelopes full of stamps, some sorted, some unsorted and some just plain a mess. There is even a scattering of covers ranging from the 1880s to modern FDCs (not counted toward the price). Some stamps are on paper, but a lot are already soaked, which means that there are a lot more stamps in the box than you might expect. Most of this was pretty much just "poured" into the box, so who knows what is in there. I doubt there is anything scarce, but the only way to find out is to have hours of fun sorting it all out.

Worldwide Floor Sweepings -- Box #11: Yes, I am STILL working on the estate of a collector who bought stamp in lots far faster than he sorted them. The contents of this box measures about 10 x 18 x 5 inches and weighs about 8-1/2 pounds. It is mostly large envelopes packed with worldwide stamps, mostly sorted by country though some not sorted. There is virtually no U.S. in this box. The envelopes consist of mixtures, accumulations, lots, duplicates, etc., packed with many thousands of stamps. There is a mix of mint and used, though probably mostly used -- the used has mostly already been soaked off paper, thus 8-1/2 pounds is a LOT of stamps when mint or used off-paper. There is a tremendous variety of countries represented, from small colonies to larger countries. There are a LOT of stamps here and there is no way that I will ever have time to look through them -- so you get to do that! I spent about as much time organizing this as it took to pile them in the box, so who knows what you will find! No guarantees of value, but somebody is going to have a lot of fun (and great therapy) with this!

Floor Sweepings -- United States -- Box #12: This U.S. floor sweepings lot is a complete hodge-podge with a weight of about 10 pounds. I see a few stamps as early as the 1890s, and then ranging up to around 2000 or so. Mixed on and off paper. A few covers and other things. About 2-1/2 pounds of it is an interesting group of 1940s-1960s U.S. machine and machine-slogan cancellations on 1x3 (or a little bigger) clippings with the complete cancellation (must be thousands). Great for a postmark collector. Other than the 1x3 clippings, most of this was pretty much just "poured" into the box, so who knows what is in there. I doubt there is anything scarce, but the only way to find out is to have hours of fun sorting it all out.

Worldwide Floor Sweepings -- Box #13: Yes, I am STILL working on the estate of a collector who bought stamp in lots far faster than he sorted them. The contents of this box measures about 15 x 19 x 5 inches (may get repacked, but is about 1425 cubic inches) and weighs about 11 pounds. It is mostly large envelopes packed with worldwide stamps, mostly sorted by country though some not sorted. There is virtually no U.S. in this box. The envelopes consist of mixtures, accumulations, lots, duplicates, etc., packed with many thousands of stamps. There is a mix of mint and used, though probably mostly used -- the used has mostly already been soaked off paper, thus 11 pounds is a LOT of stamps when mint or used off-paper. There is a tremendous variety of countries represented, from small colonies to larger countries. I especially note larger sections of Germany, Japan, Thailand, and France -- but there are lots of other regions represented as well. I believe that this will be a real bargain at this price!

Worldwide Floor Sweepings -- Mixture of Kiloware -- Box #14: Usually we speak of "mixture" OR "kiloware", but this is a mixture of several different large bags of kiloware. The stamps appear to be virtually all European, mostly smaller-size stamps (but not exclusively), neatly and fairly closely cut (not a lot of extra paper weight), single paper layer, etc. A total of about TWELVE (12) POUNDS. Just peeking briefly, I see lots of France, Germany, GB MACHINS, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark. They seem to be mostly from the 1970s-1990s. Please do not expect high values of lots of commemoratives (I think these kiloware bags were originally sold as mostly small sized / definitives). As I look it, there are lots of possibilities in varieties of the definitive stamp issues and for lots of different town postmarks. Very attractively priced.
