Unless there is a 6-digit item number in the left-most column, the images shown in this section are standard images of the issues from my image library; they are presented to show the designs of the stamp issues and not to show the specific individual stamps being offered. The centering of the stamps in the images is usually Superb or VF quality; again these are not images of the individual stamps being offered. Most early stamps had multiple printings, thus color shades vary greatly; the colors in the images are random printings/colors. If there is a 6-digit item number in the left-most column, the image is of the actual item being offered.
All the listed conditions and qualities were in stock at the moment this list was prepared and I endeavor to maintain them in stock and to keep this website updated. However, my stock changes daily and (to paraphrase) good stamps are hard to find. If you are willing to accept a different grade or quality if an item is temporarily out of stock, please let me know when ordering (add a comment at the conclusion of the shopping cart process) and please also let me know of any alternates you will consider. Furthermore, new stamps are being put in stock every day; if the quality and/or condition you are seeking is not listed, please send your want list.
This list surely includes a few errors; I will be grateful if you would inform me of any errors you see. Stamps "missing" from the list simply might not be included because they are not in stock or are singles which are normally only listed in full sets. Just the same if it seems like something obvious (and not a single from a set) is missing, please let me know. If you can offer for sale items that are not listed here, please do so; I especially need sources of recent used complete sets. Prices are subject to typographical error and change, but I will do my best to honor the listed prices to the extent of available stock.

Scott #41d, AFA #22Cy, Facit #38bb. INVERTED FRAME from Printing 22 OR 25 (hard to distinguish) from Positions 91-100. [1902 3 øre Bicolor, Perforation 12.75, Large Crown Watermark] Used with VF centering and neat (RA)NDERS [probably] December 1904 bridge-style town cancellation. This example has the darker color frame and oval of Printings 22 and 25. The inverted frame on this watermark only exists from positions 51 and 91-100 of printings 22-25; the colors of Printings 23 and 24 are lighter. The position 91-100 inverted frame stamps from all four printings have the same value. An outstanding example of a stamp that is quite hard to find in such nice quality.

Scott #41d, AFA #22Cy, Facit #38bb. INVERTED FRAME from Printing 24 from Positions 91-100. [1902 3 øre Bicolor, Perforation 12.75, Large Crown Watermark] Used with Fine centering and neat November 1904 bridge-style town cancellation. This example has the lighter color frame and oval, with smooth print, of Printing 24. The inverted frame on this watermark only exists from positions 51 and 91-100 of printings 22-25; the colors of Printings 22 and 25 are darker; Printing 23 has light colors, but a vertically-lined texture to the print. The position 91-100 inverted frame stamps from all four printings have the same value. A completely sound example, at a great price, of a stamp that is quite hard to find in such nice quality.

42c INVERTED FRAME [1903 4 øre Bicolor, Perf 12.75, Large Crown Watermark] Used SUPERB with extremely light cancellation. The inverted frame stamps on this watermark exist from positions 91-100 on only three printings: 125-127, all with similar color and usually not possible to distinguish. This is an greatly under-rated and under-valued stamp that is missing from most collections. "Rare" in such nice quality! This is surely the nicest Used example I have had in 49 years.

Scott #44a [1898 8 øre Bicolor Perf 12.75; Small Watermark, Inverted Frame] Used with VF centering and VF "VALLØ / 2 P(OST)" cancellation. (This specific cancellation style never included a year date.) Very fresh, with brilliant color and perfect perforations. As of 3/2025, I do not recall ever before having an example of a VALLØ cancellation -- it is a very small town that in 2007 was merged into a surrounding municipality. This cancellation style is actively collected -- nicely struck examples are challenging to find.
