O4 [1874 6 öre violet Official, Perf 14] Mint, without gum, with F-VF centering, but with hidden crease and tiny thin speck. Wonderful color and perfect perforations. This is the Bluish Violet color (Facit #TJ4d) which is a bit scarcer than some of the lilac colors even though the catalog values are the same (very few of the early official stamps show variation in catalog value by color even though they really should). The centering is better than usual for this stamp and no-gum is typical, as are small faults. The crease is really on visible from the reverse. While this example is not perfect, that is typical of this issue, and this is a wonderfully attractive example. Mint values are Facit 2024 SEK 2200 and Scott 2024 $275! ACTUAL item. |
