Scott #BK24 Edition 294 PARTIAL BOOKLET (originally containing Scott #226a x1, 227a x1, 228a x5), SG #BB28 Edition 294 (originally containing SG #453-5 in booklet panes) [1935 3 sh Silver Jubilee BOOKLET; red text on cream cover.] CONTAINS ONLY one #228a pane and a partial pane of three #228 stamp; all with upright watermark. Never Hinged with VF overall quality and F-VF or better centered stamps. An attractive example that can be used to "illustrate" the exterior appearance of this booklet issue. This is edition 294 (printed lower right of front cover); the back cover bears a "SHREDDED WHEAT" advertisement. Editions 294-297 exist of this 3 sh booklet. Even though this booklet is not complete, it would be a great and INEXPENSIVE way to display the exterior appearance in a 1935 Silver Jubilee omnibus collection. The Scott 2025 value of the one complete individual pane, with normal watermark, is $18 though finding such a pane still with the covers and interleaves is remarkably unusual. ACTUAL item. |
