"The Strange Story of Puffinland" H.E. Harris sales presentation page with stamps and original product envelope. Harris, Tatham, and perhaps other dealers offered Lundy stamps with special text, etc. These types of items are listed by Aitchison in the 6th edition (2019) of his Lundy catalog. This example is H4 (of 7 known H.E. Harris versions) and includes the envelope. No date is given for this item, but I believe it to be from the early 1950s. The catalog value for the page is stated as £15 plus typically £5 for the envelope. The six early Lundy stamps are Mint VF, neatly hinged to the page. This example is in pristine condition: stamps, page, and envelope. Such dealer sales promotion items have become very collectible (there is even a priced catalog of similar types of items created by Tatham Stamp Company). ACTUAL item. |
