Scott #(167a x2) Complete Booklet YT #190-C1 [1926 20c red violet Sower, Solid Background w/o Ground] Mint with VF/F-VF stamp centering. A nice looking COMPLETE ADVERTISING BOOKLET containing one pane of 20 stamps which Scott considers to be two panes because panes are adhered to the booklet cover at a center gutter. The booklet front cover had a crease (certainly present, but no very obvious because of the cover design printing) which transmits (though reduced to a bend) to the left pane (inside front cover). The left pane is three-quarters adhered to the front cover. However, the right pane is NH and in "perfect" quality. The front outer cover bears DAIRY advertising (pictures a cow) for "Dulcrem / Exquise Conffiture de Lait" Milk Sugar Cream or Milk Jam (a traditional French sweet spread made by slowly simmering whole milk and sugar until it thickens and caramelizes into a smooth, golden-brown cream). The front inside cover advertises airmail (still novel at the time). The outside and inside back cover panels are both inverted relative to the front and to the stamps; they advertise a correspondence school. The stamp margins advertise 1) "Byrrh", a famous French aromatised wine-based apéritif infused with quinine (the stamp selvage claims ten different wonderful benefits, perhaps too wonderful to believe; and 2) airmail and postal banking. The YT value is 60 Euros. Looks nice but at a very low price.
