Many of the early Lithuania sets of stamps are listed by Scott has having two or more possible perforations. The Scott listings are not clear as to whether any specific stamp within such a set only exists with one perforation or whether some or all stamps may exist with multiple perforation measurements. Until Scott clarifies their listings (which I have requested), in my price lists, I have added perforation information WITHOUT PARENTHESES to distinguish possibly different perforations. However, IF a perforation, color, paper, etc., DOES HAVE that information INSIDE PARENTHESES, that indicates that the parenthetical information is the one and only definition for that specific Scott number. [Examples... NO parentheses: "Scott #123 Perf 11" means that this item I am offering has perforation 11 and that other perforations MAY also exist. WITH parentheses: "Scott #456 (Perf 12)" means that #456 is always and only perforation 12.]
