11b [1870 2 skilling Sword and Scepter, Line Perf 12.5] Used with Average-Fine centering and neat #51 [Odense] 3-ring numeral cancellation. The perforations nearly touch the left frame line, but the other margins are huge and even. The perforations are unusually clean for this notoriously poorly (line) perforated stamp issue. Wonderful, bright color. This stamp is accompanied by a Jay Smith color image certificate with lifetime guarantee (further details of the guarantee are available). Facit 2024 value SEK 3,000 (around $300 1/2024) and AFA 2023 value DKK 2,800 (around $420 1/2024). An attractive example of a stamp that is missing from most Danish collections. However is creased, but that is not visible from the front. The Line Perf 12.5 stamps are scarce; the AFA 2010 catalog value is DKK 6000 = $1100 [10/2010] for normal quality! Very attractive and very reasonably priced. ACTUAL item. |

The perforations are remarkably rough on the top and sides -- to the point that this really should be a collectible variety -- but they are clean at the bottom, thus it is easy to confirm that this is the Line Perforation 12.5. Excellent, strong color. This stamp is accompanied by a Jay Smith color image certificate with lifetime guarantee (further details of the guarantee are available). Facit 2024 value SEK 4,500 (around $450 1/2024) and AFA 2023 value DKK 4,500 (around $675 1/2024). An attractive example of a stamp that is missing from most Danish collections.
