Greenland Mint Collection 1938-1996: Between 1//308, B1//B11, collection of 170 different mint (plus a few blocks), neatly mounted on pages. Many complete sets and better singles including 1-9, 28-38, 48-65, etc. Also includes all 5 sets of the popular Pakke-Porto reprint sheets. A few of the earlier stamps are hinged; from 1960 on all appear to be NH. We note only a couple trivial back faults in earlies, but nearly all are sound and VF. Jay Smith retail prices for the individual items amounts to $390.35. As a unit, this collection affords you a considerable savings over retail while filling many spaces all at once! |

Greenland 1979-1983 New Cancellation Official Post Cards: Collection of 71 official post-office cards, franked with various stamps, canceled with the new-in-use cancellations of 1979-1983. The 1979 cards are postally used within Greenland; after that they are unaddressed as is usually the case. I do not know if this is the complete set for these years, but if it is not, it is very close -- I have NOT removed any cards from this collection. The postmarks range from traditional town cancellations to stamp show cancels to machine cancels (with pictorial slogans), to the annual pictorial handstamp and machine Christmas postmarks (which each are from multiple towns). I see two SHIP cancels. A quick look shows pictorial cancels with topics including children, whales, candles, polar bears, birds, airplanes, midnight sun, etc. These cards, now more than 25 years old, usually sell for at least $2 each, with some topical items fetching $5 or more. The collection of 71 is priced to sell quickly. |

Greenland Stamp Card Collection: These are the cards from which the post office makes maximum cards. This group of 51 cards from roughly 1995-2000 is Mint VF; the designs are similar to or relate to the stamp designs, but these cards do NOT have stamp on them. All appear to be complete sets as issued. These normally sell for about $1-2 per card. Most collectors have ever seen them or even know that they exist. My stock of these cards is running low and I know of no reliable to restock. Includes tremendous variety of interesting topics, such as: Polar Bears, Ships, Native Life, Art, Butterflies, Dogs, Owls, Hunting, Animals, etc. (Old #30029) |
