I am constantly buying large and small collections and have built up quite a stock of nice, clean Scandinavian country collections. If you are considering getting into a new area and would like a "starter collection" (whether small or large), let me know about your interest. Also, if you are seeking used binders or used empty albums to match what you currently have, again, let me know. Here are a few samples of collections. The listings below are included by happenstance. If you are seeking a particular country or type of material, please let me know. Payment plans are available. I guarantee your satisfaction.
Due to the low prices and variation in weight, shipping cost is additional for items in the Specials Collections listings unless otherwise mentioned. When ordering please include a note in the shopping cart comments section indicating if you prefer faster/costlier or slower/cheaper delivery so that I may more quickly quote the shipping costs and options for you.
Each item is one of a kind; orders will be filled in order of receipt. Payment by MasterCard or Visa suggested, but I will hold items for 10 days pending receipt of check if you prefer.

Norway Collection to 1992 on Scott Pages: Neat set of Scott Specialty pages (punched for 2-post binder) 1855-1992, with modest range of mostly used stamps up to about 1972 and then fairly good coverage (looks like more than half the stamps) of NH VF stamps from 1970s-1992, with many definitive singles and commemorative sets. All neatly mounted: most of the first half in clear Crystal mounts and second half in black Showgard mounts. Includes various Europa and other desirable issues. Condition appears to be at least F-VF with all later issues in VF. JSA retail is over $345. An excellent start for your Norway collection; or since 98 percent of the value is in the 1970s-92 range, a great and inexpensive way to fill in a lot of stamps from that era.
Norway Collection 1872-1965: About 390 different, mint and used, on Scott Specialty 2-post pages which run to 1965. Contents range from a few better posthorns with slight faults to many mint commemorative sets of the 1940s-60s. Condition varies but overall generally F-VF or better. Scott 2008 retail will exceed $475.

Norway Used Collection 1856-1976: Over 600 different used, neatly mounted on Minkus pages. Strong range of 19th Century including #3-5, 8-18, 20-4, 26-32, etc. Later issues include a strong range of commemoratives and some useful back-of-book. Except typical scattered minor faults in the early issues with some sound, all presentable, and overall much better than usual for this time period. The 20th Century is sound and F-VF or better with much VF. Scott 2008 retail totals over $1600, so this should be an excellent value for filling many spaces at a significant savings!

2001 Norway Stamp Year Book (Rare Variety??): A few copies of the 2001 Norway Stamp Year Book got out without the stamps (or mounts) installed. While normal people call this a production error, we philatelists call it an error! The book including the stamps normally retails for about $90. If you have never seen a Norway year book, you will be very impressed. Hardbound, slipcased, and packed with beautiful illustrations and interesting text (including full English text) about the stamp issues of the year. If you collect Norway, you will love this book -- and you can put the stamps in it yourself if you like. This book shipped POSTPAID in the U.S. (Old #30105)

Norway Mail Bag 1986: High quality burlap-colored brown heavy fabric (but much finer and smoother than burlap), measuring approximately 3 feet high by 2 feet wide. Three sets of vertical red-white-blue-white-red strips and with a POST 1986 NORGE NORVEGE (and crown and posthorn) imprint in black. Extremely good condition with only minimal wear. Strong color and imprint. Would probably benefit from a gentle cleaning in cold water and cool air drying, but no defects that detract from its TERRIFIC DISPLAY APPEARANCE. This would make a SUPER WALL HANGING and a great holiday present. (Up to 4 available.) (Old #30072)
