Iceland Collection to 1992 on Scott Pages: Neat set of Scott Specialty pages (punched for 2-post binder) 1873-1992, with fairly good coverage (about 40 percent the stamps) of NH VF stamps 1977-1992. All neatly mounted: most of the first half in clear Crystal mounts and second half in black Showgard mounts. Includes various Europa and other desirable issues; appears to all be in complete sets. Condition is uniformly VF. JSA retail is over $155. An excellent start for your Iceland collection.

Iceland Collection 1876-2002 on Scott Pages: A nice collection ranging from the earlies right up into 2002, on fresh and clean Scott pages. Black stamp mounts have already been installed in most spaces whether or not stamps are present, thus saving you a tremendous amount of time and expense. The earliest issues are in the usual mixed quality with Used stamps up to about 1945. From 1945 to about 1982, most stamps appear to be Mint hinged and in uniformly VF quality. From 1983 to 2002, the stamps are uniformly NH VF! While only a few Semi-Postals and Airmails are present, the Officials section is well filled, mostly used, in the usual mixed quality for these issues. The Scott 2008 retail catalog value is about 1876-1982 $345; 1983-2002 (NH section) $426; and Back of Book $620; with a grand total of about $1373! This is an attractive collection with a lot of value and would make a super start for your new Iceland collection.
Iceland NH "Plate" Blocks, 1964-82: Handsome collection of about 180 mint corner blocks in Hawid mounts, neatly arranged in two stockbooks. Scott number ranges of 360//566, B17-24, C30-1. All complete sets. About 180 different stamps represented. Because Iceland has very few pre-1982 issues with actual plate numbers, these blocks are the closest possibilities (serial numbered or a few unnumbered, as exists). This is a gorgeous lot, OG, NH and uniformly VF. Jay Smith retail is about $713 AS SINGLE STAMPS. These blocks normally fetch a premium over their value as singles. (Old #30022)
