Slania Collection on Slania Album Pages: Very nice "starter" collection of Slania-engraved stamps on Slania album pages. A few stamps are used, but the vast majority are mint, in mounts, and are presumed to be NH. It appears that the individual retail prices of all items totals around $370-390, PLUS the value of the album pages themselves (with both supplements; a new set of pages is $94). The pages have penciled Scott catalog numbers (outside the squares, where they are visible when a stamp is in the square) which some folks will consider desirable and others might not. The pages are in heavy-duty crystal-clear 3-ring sheet protectors (probably at least another $20). The stamps are from a wide range of the "Slania countries" none of which are filled in -- the collector was in an early phase. Additionally, there is a set of the famous Boxer labels, the Sweden 1000th Stamp Pack with Blackprint, the Sweden Falcon Pack with blackprint, and a few pieces of Slania-engraved currency. All in all, this is a terrific way to get your Slania collection started at a significant savings. |
