Scott #O56 [1930 10 aur Parliament, Viking Ship in Calm Water, Official Overprint] Used with F-VF centering. Wonderfully fresh with great color, and partially complete, correct type of the illustrated "ŝINGVELLIR / 930-1930" thousand-year cancellation. This cancellation device did not include an actual date, but when it was applied to a cover somewhere else on the cover a normal dated cancellation would also be struck. This stamp issue was only valid during 1930, thus with this cancellation type, the use was during 1930. A very nice example of a stamp of which it is hard to find nice, properly canceled examples.
