Variety not listed in the AFA 2016 (most recent) Specialized Catalog but may be related to AFA 127x: "White stone in top row of stone wall to left of right doorway". Such varieties usually only exist on 1 out of 120 stamps! Very pretty example.

Scott #164 [1930 2 kr Parliament / Althing: Farm in Winter] NEVER HINGED with XF-Superb centering. Wonderfully fresh and attractive bottom sheet margin single with printed text "fecit 1929" [created 1929] reproducing the artist (Hesshaimer) handwriting. While this marginal position (one stamp out of 120 in the full sheet!) does not affect the value much (the price is all for the centering, not the margin), it is a very attractive way to dress up an Iceland collection. This stamp is quite hard to find in NH condition with such nice centering.

Wonderful XF appearance with great color! A classic stamp design that would make a perfect highlight to an Iceland collection!

Variety listed in the AFA 2016 (most recent) Specialized Catalog: "Red spot in upper right corner of L of ISLAND". Though only a modest premium in the catalog over the normal example, such varieties on this issue normally only exist on 1 of 120 stamps -- this is the first time in 48 years that I have been able to offer this variety! Very pretty example.
